WWE legend Brock Lesnar was slated to appear at the Royal Rumble earlier this year, but those plans didn’t come to fruition following allegations of the former MMA star’s connection to the legal mess of Vince McMahon. Lesnar was also excluded from the WWE 2K24 video game and taken out of the company’s future creative plans.
It’s been nearly a year since WWE fans last saw Lesnar, leading some to speculate he might appear at Saturday’s Summerslam in Cleveland.
Earlier this week, country rock band The Red Clay Strays took to Instagram to post several photos from their Nashville show, one of which included Lesnar backstage with the group.
”Feels like a Marvel movie with all these cameos,” the band wrote. “Album release show last night was a success. Big thanks to @theovon for coming out and introducing us. Triple H previously said he’s open to brining Lesnar back, but the aforementioned legal hurdles have prevented that from happening.
