Abadon Comments On Their Recent Injury

AEW’s Abadon recently started looking for additional bookings due to wanting more ring time. However, things went south last weekend when they suffered a broken collarbone in an intergender match. And now the non-binary competitor has broken their silence to address this on Twitter, calling it a bump in the road, and noting that despite some critics not thinking much of the 30-year-olds in-ring ability, one day they’ll be undeniable.

Abadon has only completed for AEW fourteen times this year, yet many fans believe that they are one of the organization’s most underappreciated talents. Nevertheless, they last appeared on a non-YouTube AEW show on the Rampage episode on October 27, 2021. Therefore, it seems Tony Khan has some reservations himself about their suitability for television. Thus extra outside bookings made perfect sense, yet in this instance, it backfired for all involved, and Abadon will now likely be absent from the ring for more than three months.
