Metallica is currently on the road for the M72 World Tour. The ambitious trek is seeing the band play two nights in cities with completely different setlists for a “No Repeat Weekend.” Special guests for shows include Pantera, Mammoth WVH, Five Finger Death Punch, Greta Van Fleet, Ice Nine Kills and Architects.

Metallica had a special visitor to their Aug. 31 show at SoFi Stadium Inglewoo, California. A pet dog somehow found her way to the band’s show.

Metallica posted about the unique incident on Facebook.

“You might have heard we had a four-legged fan join us for #M72LA!” the band wrote.

“Despite reports to the contrary, our friend Storm snuck out of her home adjacent to SoFi Stadium and made her way to the gig all by herself.”

“After a full night taking in the show with her #MetallicaFamily, Storm was safely reunited with her actual family the next day. She had a great time listening to her favorite songs, including ‘Barx Æterna,’ ‘Master of Puppies’ and ‘The Mailman That Never Comes.'”

The group concluded, “And in case you were wondering, no. You definitely shouldn’t bring your furry friends to the #M72 World Tour. But this dog sure did have her day…”

Metallica performs this weekend in Glendale, Ariz. before taking the rest of the month and October off. The tour resumes in November for a pair of shows in St. Louis and Detroit, and picks up again next May in Europe.
